Who you'll be working with
I've spent years in the company of other people's sentences — coaxing, questioning, and occasionally leaving a very enthusiastic note in the margin. I'm a writer myself, which means I read your draft the way you'd hope a reader would: closely, generously, and with an eye for the book it's trying to become.
Angie's Archive is deliberately small. You work directly with me from first read to final proof, without handoffs or a queue. Whether you're wrestling a memoir into shape, polishing a debut novel, or figuring out how on earth to publish the thing, you'll have a steady editor and an honest first reader in your corner.

The big-picture read. We look at structure, pacing, character, and argument — everything that decides whether a reader keeps turning pages. You get an editorial letter and in-manuscript notes.

Sentence by sentence. I tune rhythm, clarity, and voice, then clean up grammar, consistency, and the small errors that pull a reader out of the story — always keeping the words unmistakably yours.

The last careful pass before anyone else sees it. A fresh, meticulous read for typos, formatting slips, and stray inconsistencies — so your finished work meets readers without a snag.

The part no one explains. From query letters and submission strategy to self-publishing decisions, formatting, and finding the right path for your book — I help you get it into readers' hands with confidence.

We talk about your book, your hopes for it, and where you're stuck. No pressure — just a chance to see if we're a good fit.
I sit with your manuscript properly, then send an editorial letter and notes: what's working, what isn't, and how to get from here to there.
You rework with a clear map in hand. I'm available for questions along the way — revision shouldn't be a lonely business.
A final polish, then guidance on the next step — querying agents, submitting, or publishing it yourself.
